St. Nicholas Visits!

December 4, Parish Hall

Children and adults will hear about St. Nicholas and prepare for his visit. He typically visits on December 6, but we asked him to come a couple of days early this year. Let Ms. Shayla know if you’ll be here for the visit on the Episcokid Advent/Christmas form below and bring your shoes for the visit!

Children’s Nativity Pageant

Children are invited to participate in the Children's pageant during our Lessons and Carols service on December 15. Sign up on the website to let us know you plan to participate. Parents will be contacted with the role their child best fits. We will have a costume fitting in the Outreach Center on December 4 prior to meeting St. Nicholas and a dress rehearsal in the Nave on December 11 at 6 pm. Please contact Ms. Shayla for more information.

Children’s Christmas Party

Sunday, December 15 during Wassail Party for adults, following the Christmas Pageant

Join us for a festive Christmas celebration on December 15th, during the Wassail party. The party will take place in the Youth Room and is open to all kids who want to enjoy some holiday fun. We’ll have cookies, pizza, and hot chocolate with marshmallows to enjoy while we watch a Christmas movie and celebrate the season together. It’s sure to be a merry time with friends, food, and plenty of holiday cheer! If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Ms. Shayla.

We know finding a church can be hard. We were all new to St. Thomas once, so let us tell you a little about ourselves.

We are named for the apostle Thomas, whose life was changed when he encountered the risen Christ. His confession of faith, “My Lord and my God,” is printed above our altar.

Like Thomas, we encounter the risen Christ in our life together and find our lives transformed. We invite you to worship, learn, and serve with us.

I'm New

St. Thomas was founded in 1958 and is a congregation of about 400-600 people. A few folks have been here for a long time, but a lot of us are newcomers! Some of us grew up as Episcopalians, some of us came from other Christian traditions, and some of us have no religious background at all!

Who We Are

It is easy to join St. Thomas as a member. Just tell us you want to belong, and we'll enroll you as a baptized member of the congregation. If you've never been baptized, contact Rev. Grace to schedule a time for Holy Baptism. We look forward to being in touch with you.

When the Nave and Chapel of St. Thomas were dedicated in 1972, the congregation knew they had built a space for more than themselves.
