Search for Director of Children and Family Ministries

St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Columbus, GA seeks a creative and inspiring leader to serve as Director of Children and Family Ministries. The ideal candidate will be a person of lively faith, committed to the full inclusion of all children and families - including LGBTQIA+ families, who delights in the witness and liturgy of the Episcopal Church - or is willing to learn! Between 30 to 40 children participate currently, with average weekly attendance around 25 and with room for more. Current ministries include Sunday School, Children's Chapel during worship, Wednesday nights, seasonal intergenerational events (including VBS), and a professionally staffed nursery. The position is 3/4 to full-time (30 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability). If 40 hours, the position will also include preparing weekly worship bulletins and working with the membership database.
